Hispanic Heritage Month

Door Decorating Competition

All are invited to participate

Here are the rules:

1. Participants should have their door decorated by 5pm on Monday, September 16th. We ask that participants keep the decorations up until October 10th (as Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th - October 15th).
2. Each team/member may submit and decorate only one door.
3. If the team is in a shared office space and more than one wants to participate, the office can decide to decorate their shared office door as part of the team or their own door if available.
4. Door decorations should acknowledge and celebrate Hispanic/Latinx Heritage. Feel free to Google, "Hispanic Heritage Month door decorating" for ideas.
5. Door decoration must be appropriate and consistent with Mendocino College Policy and workplace standards.
6. Do not damage the door or surrounding walls.
7. Décor must not obstruct or prevent easy access.
8. Door will be evaluated on Four criteria: visual impact, creativity/originality, Hispanic heritage theme, and craftsmanship.
9. Door decoration judging will be completed on October 10th at which time a winner will be announced.
10. All door decorations must be removed by October 15th, 2024.
