What is Textbook Affordability?

Making Textbooks More Affordable at Mendocino College

We know that the cost of textbooks and course materials can add up quickly. That’s why Mendocino College offers several ways to help students save money:

  • Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) Degrees and Certificates – Complete your program without paying for textbooks.
  • ZTC Course Sections – Classes that use free or low-cost materials.
  • Textbook Lending Library – Borrow textbooks, calculators, and Chromebooks for free.
  • Student Services Program Library Collections – Access textbooks, Chromebooks, and Wi-Fi hotspots through support programs like SEA, EOPS and more.
