The UC Davis Library’s AggieOpen program is thrilled to host Professor Jasmine Roberts-Crews as our first invited speaker for 2023. Professor Roberts-Crews will present “A Call for Reparative Justice in Open Education Labor” on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 via Zoom.
This talk discusses the intersections between race, gender, and labor in open education. Using a Black feminist lens, the talk urgently calls for reparative justice in open education labor. The audience will understand how to reclaim justice in open education labor through equitable practices, communal care, and rest.
The UNM Open Educational Resources (OER) Working Group has organized a slate of exciting and informative events to raise awareness of current initiatives and inspire visions of how OER could develop across the UNM system and across New Mexico.
As an added bonus, anyone who attends an event virtually or in person will be eligible to enter a random drawing for a door prizes. One attendee will win an Amazon gift card at each event. Limit one gift card per winner.
